| Project Description: | The client originally just wanted a re-roof of this elevation and for us to inspect the dormers. Upon gaining suitable access, we discovered the dormers to be in a very poor state, as we had warned the client before proceeding, which he accepted beforehand as a possible additional element of work. As access was available, and the client wanted a permanent fix, we renewed all of the lead to the dormers to ensure a watertight fixture to prevent any further issues with water in the future. Some high quality lead work here from Lead Sheet Association members; we would strongly advise to get L.S.A. members in to do any lead work, as it is very highly specialised and is invariably what many contractors get wrong. |
