| Project Description: | The owners of this Grade II listed building were keen to get specialist help as their roof covering is stone slates in random widths and diminishing courses, which means the slates decrease in length as they go up the roof and are in an assortment of widths. This is a very traditional detail that is certainly outside the remit of most roofing contractors. Getting hold of these slates is a difficulty in itself and requires good contacts with specialists in the region. We also fixed new like-for-like cast iron guttering and rebuilt both of the chimney stacks whilst we were on site. |
