|Location:||High Petergate, York|
|Materials Used:||Reclaimed slates, codes 3 and 5 lead, timber battens, Proctor Roofshield|
|Project Duration||8 weeks|
|Project Description:||A previous client came to us with a request to re-roof the Grade II listed pub that he owns on High Petergate in front of the Minster.
Large and detailed projects like this are what we enjoy most, as they best demonstrate our skills and expertise. It is also on projects like these that inferior contractors tend to struggle as they do not have the level of knowledge necessary to create a watertight roof on something with as many details as this.
The roof covering was replaced with reclaimed slates to match the existing with plenty of other lead details to ensure a compliant and watertight result. A very nice project of which we are very proud.
