The Project

The client wanted to change the somewhat dated exterior appearance of their property in conjunction with the re-roofing work. We looked at other properties in the area and felt that the use of reclaimed Welsh slates coupled with lead hips and ridges would help the property blend into its surroundings.The dormer windows are a prominent feature on the front elevation of this property and needed some attention to make them more aesthetically pleasing. The old roof coverings were removed and insulation introduced in between the roof structure and to the dormers. The dormer windows were constructed in such a way that we could introduce a good level of insulation and then covered in code 5 lead with a Flag Soprema single ply roof covering.Finally the roof was re-slated and code 5 lead hips and ridges were installed to provide a nice looking and maintenance free roof covering to the property.
