All enquiries are reviewed prior to booking. Scope, time requirements and access considerations will be confirmed before proceeding.
Once agreed, the survey fee is confirmed, payment arranged, and a suitable date scheduled with the appropriate member of our team.
Where required, specialist access methods can be incorporated, including drone inspection, mobile access platforms and scaffold systems.

Roof Survey & Quotation Service
At GNR Roofing, site visits are provided as a chargeable professional service to prepare a specification and quotation for works.
This service does not include a formal roof condition report.
The service includes:
- Inspection by a roofing specialist
- Assessment of roof condition and key details
- Photographs where required
- Advice on defects and proposed works
- Assessment of access requirements (e.g. scaffolding)
- Preparation of a detailed, contract-ready specification and quotation
Specifications are typically issued within 7 days, subject to project complexity.
This service is intended for clients requiring a clear scope of work and an accurate basis for pricing and delivery.
If a written roof condition report is required for diagnosis, purchase or record purposes, please select the Independent Roof Report option when booking. This is a separate service with different deliverables.
Survey Fees
Survey fees are structured based on location, access requirements and project complexity. A fixed fee will be confirmed prior to booking.
- Standard Survey – local, straightforward
£120–£180 + VAT - Extended Survey – larger, more complex or further travel
£180–£350 + VAT - Specialist Survey – multiple elements, difficult access or detailed assessment
£350+ + VAT
